ASAP Rocky just kicked off his Injured Generation tour on Tuesday (Jan. 8) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it looks as though he put on a crazy show. Featuring cars on his stage and donning a mask while performing, the TESTING rapper is still very much experimenting, even when it comes to the live side of things. He also used the opportunity to showcase some new material, previewing an intense sounding new song called "Babushka."

As pointed out on HipHopHeads, Rocky premiered the bass-heavy song to the lively audience. In a fan recording of the new teaser, the audience certainly looks receptive to the track. Carrying a Memphis rap vibe with a pitched-down sample at its core, Rocky has a banger on his way with this one.

Last year saw Rocky making headlines for sporting a Gucci Russian grandma-style scarf. "Babushka" means 'grandma' in Russian, so it would appear that the song is a tribute to his new favorite accessory. "I just wanted to show off my babushka today, honestly," he said when asked about his style at the time. "I thought it was so immaculate. And I feel like I look so handsome right now with the shades on. I'm just encouraging all guys to wear babushkas from here on out. Silk gang, silk city. You know how we do it."

Rocky is set to continue his tour with a show in Chicago tonight, where he will be joined by frequent collaborator Playboi Carti. Get tickets for the Injured Generation tour here.

The rapper recently revisited his divisive TESTING project with the release of his inventive "Tony Tone" video. The December-released visual includes appearances from the rest of the ASAP Mob. Before that, he also shared his first single since the release of TESTING with the Tame Impala-assisted "Sundress," which saw him taking on more of a psychedelic rock approach. Whether "Sundress" and "Babushka" are from the follow-up to TESTING is unclear.
