Remy Ma and Papoose have been married for 10 years, but this is their first child together. Remy has a son and Papoose has three other children from previous relationships.
The couple have been trying to have a child together for a while now. Remy famously dealt with a miscarriage while surrounded by Love & Hip Hop cameras. A 2017 episode began with the news that Remy was pregnant and ended with the devastating revelation.
“This was a hard time for me & my husband & we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all,” she wrote on Instagram after the episode aired. “[Papoose] made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don't have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright. So I'm here to tell anyone going thru a similar situation that it is not over and God has the last say.”
Ma and Papoose announced that they were having a child earlier this year during a vows renewal ceremony.
