Meek Mill stopped by The Breakfast Club on Thursday, following the release of his latest offering CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Of course, one of the more talked about moments on the album is his collaboration with Drake on the cut “Going Bad.” After explaining how he linked with Drake to work on the song, DJ Envy inquired as to whether Nicki Minaj ever tried to squash the beef between Meek and Drake.

Without hesitation, Meek gave a resolute, “No.”

He went on to explain how tired he is of hearing those two names during interviews he’s done during the CHAMPIONSHIPS press tour.

“I’m not following the standard thing you gotta do to like sell music and like talk about the same people,” Meek explained. “Meek Mill says this about Drake, Meek Mill said this about [6ix9ine], Meek Mill said this about Nicki. No, I ain’t say nothing about them—somebody asked me about them. When you see the headline, shit get overwhelming.”

He continued, “Yo, this shit is fucking with me at nighttime. I’m going to sleep with Nicki and Drake on my mind… It’s in my real life now.”

In April, Nicki addressed the topic, explaining what it was like to see her then-boyfriend Meek feud with one of her best friends, during a Beats 1 Interview with Zane Lowe.

It was “one of the hardest parts of [her] career to date,” she said, adding, “at the time, I did love both of them.”

“I felt so imprisoned in that moment,” Nicki said.

“It was difficult to stay out of it. I was behind the scenes, wishing it wouldn’t happen,” she explained. “I said, ‘Don’t do that.’ I think, as artists, we all look back on things that we shouldn’t have done. But he did it, and it is what it is. What I do know is that Meek and Drake have moved on from that.”
