Last episode, Saturday Night Live revealed that Anderson .Paak will be the show's musical guest on Dec. 1. SNL teased the gig during the Steve Carell-hosted episode. His upcoming appearance is the latest in a stacked Season 44 that's included performances from Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and most recently, Ella Mai.

SNL's announcement comes during .Paak's weekend in the spotlight. The Californian musician dropped his long-awaited third studio album, Oxnard, on Thursday night. The 14-track project boasted features from Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Pusha-T, J. Cole, and Q-Tip. On Saturday, .Paak hosted the family-friendly Andy’s Oxnard Carnival in his hometown and album namesake.

.Paak's SNL episode will be hosted by Claire Foy, who's starring in the thriller, The Girl in the Spider's Web. The flick, which hit theaters Nov. 9, serves as the sequel to 2011's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Foy's SNL appearance is another highlight in a year that includes her first Primetime Emmy win for her lead actress work on Netflix's The Crown.
