Yella Beezy Reportedly in Stable Condition Following Shooting

Dallas rapper Yella Beezy was shot at while driving along the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Lewisville on Sunday.

Dallas rapper Yella Beezy was shot at while driving along the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Lewisville on Sunday (Oct. 14), with the Dallas Morning News reporting that he was hit three times during the shooting. Following the incident, Beezy was hospitalized. 

We can now confirm that rapper Yella Beezy -- whose "That's On Me" single has become one of the biggest songs of the year and one of the biggest rap hits ever out of Dallas -- was hospitalized after being shot last night.

The "That's On Me" rapper was shot at when an unidentified vehicle pulled up alongside him and opened fire, although it is unclear at this point what the motive behind the shooting was. Capt. Dan Rochelle says no arrested have been made in connection yet.

Initial reports of the shooting stated that he was expected to make a recovery, but now a picture of him in hospital alongside his child have confirmed that he's in stable condition.

Yella Beezy received a huge boost earlier this year when he opened for Beyoncé and JAY-Z during the Dallas stop of their most recent joint tour. With millions of plays on numerous music videos on YouTube, it would appear he's going to continue to rise.
