Cardi B and Nicki Minaj went back on forth on Monday firing contradicting claims at one another. Nicki claims Cardi stopped her bag. Cardi says Nicki stopped her bag. They both tried to take credit for various fashion and music opportunities from one another, some of which have been verified or discredited by third parties. At this point, it’s hard to know who to believe.
Though the two rappers later declared a sort of truce, TV personality Maury Povich thinks the only way to settle things once and for all is to have both women take a lie detector test. “As far as I’m concerned that’d be like Trump and Hillary making nice,” Povich said of Cardi and Nicki on Hot 97. Nicki offered to pay Cardi to take a lie detector test on Monday. “I’ll pay you to take a lie detector test about every claim I made on #QueenRadio,” she tweeted.
Maury told TMZthat he’s been trying to get Cardi on his show with Offset, likely to talk about her husband’s alleged infidelity.
When asked who he thinks is telling the truth, Povich admitted he doesn't think either of them are being 100 percent honest. “Quite frankly, I think there’s a little bit of guilt on both sides,” he said.
Nicki said she's down to take Maury's test, but there's no word yet from Cardi.
