FXXXXY called upon Lil Durk for his latest single “Follow Me.”

The track officially dropped Thursday afternoon first on Ebro Darden's Beats 1 Radio show, nearly two months after FXXXXY shared his Gunna-assisted track “Need U.”

"Follow Me" begins as a slow-burning, almost sensual jam, supported by the Dallas rapper’s melodic flow. Lil Durk then turns up the energy with cocky lines delivered in a sing-song flow.

"Me and my team always thought Durk would be dope on the song," FXXXXY told Complex of the collaboration. "I’mma fan of everybody I work with so I always loved what he did."

FXXXXY added that he drew inspiration from "real life relationships" for the song. "It’s the aftermath of a temporary breakup. When you both become cool headed and ready to do it again."

You can listen to the new single below and grab it at digital retailers here. FXXXXY also recently linked up with Future, which resulted in "7-10" songs recorded. "It was really like meeting Michael Jordan to me," he explained. "He always been my favorite for years now. I know every word to his songs."

“Follow Me” arrives just weeks after Durk dropped the official video for his “Spin the Block” single featuring Future. The track, produced by Southside and ATL Jacob, is expected to appear on the Chicago rapper's Signed to the Streets 3 project, which is due next month. The effort will include appearances by Lil Baby, Young Dolph, Lil Reese, Jeezy, and more.
