Nicki Minaj and her ex Safaree Samuels engaged in an all-out Twitter war on Tuesday, bringing to light some dark accusations. In one tweet, Samuels claimed he almost died after Onika once cut him with a knife.
Now, TMZ’s Van Lathan claims there is video of Nicki chasing Safaree with a knife from 2014.
“We’ve actually seen the video here at TMZ, back in 2014, that shows Nicki chasing Safaree with a knife,” Lathan told Power 106. “We should say, don’t know what happened after that. Couples get into it, sometimes things get heated. There’s no reason why you should be chasing someone with a knife, but we don’t know if Nicki actually stabbed him with a knife.”
It’s unclear if TMZ or Power 106 has any plans of trying to surface the video in question, but regardless Nicki is unlikely to face any legal troubles for the alleged domestic violence against her ex.
“It doesn’t seem that he’s going to want to press charges,” Lathan said. “If he wanted to press charges, he would have pressed them then.”
The Twitter feud began when Samuels responded to Nicki’s interview with Hot 97. It spiraled into a conversation about Safaree's and Tyga’s hairlines, and Nicki allegedly cheating on him with Meek.
Nicki replied to Safaree, without addressing the deadly knife situation, and it’s unclear if she plans to speak on it.
