After taping the episode of Wild 'n Out featuring Azealia Banks, the '212' rapper publicly bashed the show, leading to her and Nick Cannon getting into a heated social media back-and-forth. Banks' shade reportedly stemmed from DC Young Fly calling Banks "ugly" during the show's 'So Petty' segment. The premise is participants tell the audience someone is "so petty," to which they respond "How petty?." The presenter then goes in on his/her victim of choice.

During this particular episode, DC starts off with "My boy Nick Cannon is so petty," before saying, "He couldn't get Cardi B so he got Azealia's ugly ass." After the audience's reaction peters out, Azealia responds by stating, "Sorry, can I just say, that was very anti-black." Banks then posted a number of stories throwing shade at Cannon, to which he replied.

However, on a much lighter note, Cannon came through with some positivity this Saturday, in a lengthy Instagram post thanking Banks the show's high ratings in addition to applauding her character. "I can honestly say I have great respect and admiration for @azealiabanks for coming back out and completing the show like a strong Queen and going High that day. Anyone who can even come on Wildnout and show a different side of themselves and have the courage to go up against some of the funniest, rawest, and most talented individuals in the game, says a lot about one's character. So all the pageantry and pandemonium aside I would like to say Thank you to @azealiabanks and her team for being a part of our hit show and helping provide these great ratings," the caption read.

Maybe Banks will publicly send him some niceties in return, or maybe she'll channel this fizzled energy into Elon Musk.
