Well, better safe than sorry. On Monday evening, per TMZ, Los Angeles police and a helicopter swarmed Rihanna’s home in Hollywood Hills after a faulty alarm sounded off.

Video from yesterday shows a fleet of LAPD vehicles camped outside the singer’s home, but fortunately there was nothing suspicious going on after all, and her alarm system appeared to be set off by accident. Rihanna was not home at the time of the incident.

It’s no surprise that so many police showed up to check out the Fenty Beauty mogul’s crib, because just a few months ago, RiRi did have an intruder on her property who broke in and spent the night at her house.

Back in May, an alarm company notified authorities that her home security system may have been tampered with. An assistant for Rihanna ultimately discovered 26-year-old Eduardo Leon of Fullerton inside the residence and called authorities. He was then arrested. At some point, he was reportedly tased. Rihanna never publicly commented on the incident.

The creepy man claimed he was there to have sex with the singer, and was later charged with one felony count each of first-degree residential burglary, vandalism, and stalking.  He was also given a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.

Fortunately, Rihanna was also not home when all that went down, and instead was in New York running the Met Gala while looking like the pope. God bless her.
