If you’ve spent any time whatsoever on 50 Cent’s Instagram page, you’ve seen his catchphrase “#getthestrap.” Now 50 Cent is gathering a very New York cast of characters to reinforce that message.

Fif dropped his highly anticipated single “Get the Strap” featuring Casanova, 6ix9ine, and Uncle Murda, along with visuals of the crew fully loaded as they rob a gun store and ride around New York City. In the new music video, 6ix9ine also hangs on the side of an NYPD vehicle doing donuts.

A collab between Fif and 6ix9ine has been rumored for a while now, and the song finally premiered on the latest episode of 50’s show Power, which dropped on the Starz on demand streaming service on Saturday night. He also once called the “Fefe” rapper his “son,” because of their shared penchant for trolling. He still continues to support him despite 6ix9ine’s many controversies.

The collab comes at a time when both 6ix9ine and Casanova are embroiled in some pretty nasty legal issues. Casanova is in trouble for allegedly assaulting a woman earlier this month, and a warrant was issued for his arrest before he later turned himself in to the NYPD.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine is facing an ongoing case for allegedly choking a 16-year-old in Houston back in January, and another after pleading guilty to “use of a child in a sexual performance.”

On top of these legal troubles, the two previously had beef they squashed in May. Whatever issues they once had are clearly a thing of the past. Watch the video for “Get the Strap” above.
