An Uber driver who's clearly never heard the Drake classic "Summer Games" let out an impassioned "Fucking idiot!" outside Delilah in West Hollywood Tuesday night, allegedly because someone on the 6 God's team hit his parked car with a door. Also, now I want a burger from Delilah.
In a report from—who the hell else?—TMZ, Drake's driver is alleged to have "dinged" the Uber-steering "Fucking idiot!"-sayer's car after swinging his door open outside the popular drinks-and-dinner spot. As TMZ is in fact still TMZ, there's of course footage of the "Fucking idiot!" moment and I would honestly love to hear 40 sample that on a future Drake track. Amazingly, local authorities were briefly involved with the "Fucking idiot!" door-dinging incident after the Uber driver notified them. As the occurrence doesn't really qualify as a cop-calling one, no report was drawn up and all anyone got out of this was a TMZ article and a Complex article about the TMZ article. Nice.
This actually isn't the first Drake x Delilah happening of the month. Over the weekend, he was apparently spotted there with the real-life inspiration behind his latest No. 1 hit "In My Feelings." Drake's dad, Dennis Graham, was also on the scene. As for the track itself, the latest wrinkle—thanks to the Will Smith–dominated success of the accompanying Shiggy dance—involves a super alleged payout of $250,000. "N****s is lying," Shiggy said on Instagram Live Tuesday in response to rumors that Drake had hit him with a check. "$250,000? What kind of shit is going on, man?"
