Congratulations are in order for Remy Ma and Papoose.
Earlier this week, the hip-hop couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. Remy shared photos and video of the intimate ceremony, during which she and Papoose also announced some really big news.
“And although we told you all guys we were bringing you out here to renew our vows, which we are, we also wanted all of our family here when we told you guys…" Papoose then placed his hand on his wife’s stomach and revealed: “We're going to have a baby!”
The crowd, of course, broke out in cheers and applause, which you can see in the touching Instagram post below. According to the caption, the Bronx-bred rapper is about four months pregnant.
Though Remy and Papoose have children from previous relationships, they’ve never had a child together. Fans have watched the couple’s struggles with fertility in the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York, which documented the events leading up to and following Remy’s miscarriage. After the episode aired, Remy went to social media to address her family’s loss.
“I had a chance to go to a store and see mad baby stuff. I bought a pregnancy journal and started filling it out. I never for one second thought that it would end like this for me in the hospital,” she said in now-deleted Instagram video. “I have stitches in my stomach and no baby.
