It looks like Young Thug, Metro Boomin, Future, and Joe Moses have something up their collective sleeve. Early Tuesday morning, Thugger—who decidedly changed his name to Sex in February—shared a photo of himself with the three other musicians in the studio, alongside the caption, “We don’t show the #COOK-UP, we present the #DONE.”
Future and Thugger previously collaborated on the tape Super Slimey, which dropped in October; now, it looks like we could get some sort of follow-up from the two Atlanta natives. Though Young Thug claimed he wouldn’t release any music this year out of respect for his deaf brother, he dropped the aptly titled three-song EP Hear No Evil. Future, on the other hand, deleted all the posts from his Instagram, causing fans to speculate that he may have a new project on the way.
Earlier in April, Metro wiped his Instagram clean too, and—in what we all trusted was a joke—took to his story, writing, “Retired from rap,” from what looked like to be a private jet.
While neither Future nor Metro shared any photos from the studio session, Joe Moses shared Thugger’s photo on Instagram with the caption, “Wizard metro slime Suwop 👀.” Hopefully, they share what they’re planning and soon.
