Tyler, the Creator has been in the news lately because of his new Flower Boy album, which features lyrics that have fans curious about the rapper's sexuality.

In particular, on "I Ain’t Got Time," Tyler raps, "Next line will have 'em like 'Whoa'/I been kissing white boys since 2004." On "Garden Shed," he spits: "Truth is, since you kid, thought it was a phase/Thought it would be like the phrase 'poof'; gone/But it's still going on." He took to Twitter to clarify lyrics when the wrong ones started making the rounds, but he hasn't come out and directly addressed the speculation about his sexual preferences.

Earlier this week, Tyler was a guest on Know Wave's Koopz Tunes radio show. The host sets up Tyler's guest appearance by saying, "He's so open-minded now. I love it." Tyler, in typical Tyler fashion, fired back playfully to defend himself.

"Open-minded now?" Tyler questioned. "I had a boyfriend when I was 15 in fucking Hawthorne [California], nigga. If that's not open-minded, I don't know what the fuck that is."

They move on pretty quickly and start playing some jams, but that small moment obviously caught the attention of a slew of publications and people who have already been curious about the rapper's sexuality.

It took a few days, but Tyler finally responded to those reactions and widespread coverage of his comment, tweeting that it was just a "figure of speech."

We may or may not ever know what the deal really is, but it's kind of none of our fucking business, anyway. You can listen to Tyler's full interview with Know Wave below. The comment from Tyler is at the 4:10 mark.

In less confusing news, Tyler recently announced the lineup for his sure-to-be-flames Camp Flog Gnaw 2017 music festival. Performing alongside Tyler are Lana Del Rey, Kid Cudi, ASAP Rocky, Solange, Migos, Vince Staples and Mac Miller. It's going down at Exposition Park in Los Angeles on Oct. 28 and 29, and tickets are available at the festival's official site.
