Lady Gaga may be forced to enter Dr. Luke’s ongoing legal battle with Kesha.

According to Rolling Stone, Dr. Luke’s legal team has subpoenaed the 31-year-old Joanne artist to testify in his defamation lawsuit against Kesha.

"In connection with Dr. Luke's defamation claims against Kesha, various third parties are being deposed by both sides, including celebrities," the producer’s representative said in a statement. "Dr. Luke's counsel served a subpoena on Lady Gaga because she has relevant information regarding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha. This motion has become necessary because Dr. Luke's counsel has not been able to obtain, despite repeated request[s], a deposition date from Lady Gaga."

Gaga has been a vocal supporter of Kesha throughout her sexual assault case against Dr. Luke. In 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit against the producer, accusing him of battery as well as sexual and emotional abuse. Dr. Luke filed a countersuit, accusing Kesha of defamation.

Gaga has since defended the "Tik Tok" singer’s claims on social media ("There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery") and has reportedly exchanged text messages with Kesha about Dr. Luke’s alleged abuse. According to TMZ, Gaga has already provided the court a written statement regarding the texts; however, Dr. Luke’s attorneys want to question the singer about the conversation. And they want to do it face-to-face.

Dr. Luke has reportedly accused Gaga of participating in a “smear campaign,” which included urging Sony to cut ties with him as well as tweeting “#FreeKesha.”
