This year's Surf was undeniably excellent but was, in all fairness, not a Chance the Rapper album. Since Chance dropped his career-defining Acid Rap mixtape back in 2013, fans have been waiting relatively patiently for a follow-up to the instaclassic that included Chance staples like "Everybody's Something" and "Smoke Again."
