Footage going viral this week shows the driver of a Honda Accord combatively attempting to overtake a fellow driver’s truck, only to ultimately crash into a highway barrier.

Dashcam footage of the moment in question was initially shared by YouTube user Racerwong.Shooterwong in late January, with the video ultimately making its way to Twitter and elsewhere for extended commentary on the dangers of road rage.

The original video opens with a shot of a white truck, later identified as a Ford F-150 Raptor, hitting the brakes as the Honda Accord quickly approaches from the right lane. The two vehicles end up traveling side-by-side at a seemingly increased speed, with another car directly in front of the Accord. A few seconds later, the driver of the Accord moves directly behind the Ford. Later, the Accord is seen again increasing in speed as it appears to attempt to make its way between the truck and another vehicle, only to spin out and flip over.

According to the video’s description on YouTube, the wild footage stems from the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The YouTube user who uploaded the footage, meanwhile, said in the video’s description that local authorities told him that the driver was “OK” after the crash. And in an article from British tabloid Daily Mail, the footage uploader reiterated that claim.

Complex has reached out to New Jersey’s Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department for additional comment. Below, see some of the commentary spurred by the footage, which was still widely making the rounds this week.
