Shortly after reports surfaced that Elon Musk welcomed twins last year, the 51-year-old tech mogul was offered some congratulations from Nick Cannon.

“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” wrote Musk, who has not commented on the overturning of Roe V. Wade but has repeatedly expressed concern about birth rates. “A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far. Mark my words, they are sadly true.”

“Right there with you my Brother!” wrote Nick Cannon in response, clearly alluding to his exponentially growing family. He even recently hinted that he’s expecting another child, which would put him at the same number as Musk, who has already fathered nine known children.

In a since-deleted response, Musk offered his congratulations to Cannon for his big family. "Congrats on your family! We must expand scope & scale of consciousness for civilization to flourish & understand nature of Universe," wrote the Tesla founder. "Consciousness resides most strongly in humans, therefore we need more people!"

According to court documents that surfaced online earlier this week, Musk secretly welcomed twins into the world last year with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink. The docs show that the pair filed a petition to change the babies’ surnames to “Musk” with “Zilis” as part of their respective middle names. The request was also repeatedly approved by a Texas judge, at least around six months after the twins were born. Musk also welcomed his second child with Grimes last year.

Last month, it was reported that Musk’s trans daughter filed for a name change because she did not want to be associated with him “in any way, shape or form.”
