Jeff Bezos might be walking down the aisle once again.
An insider told Page Six that Bezos and girlfriend Lauren Sanchez are reportedly engaged. They have been dating for around five years.
Rumors that the couple is engaged have thrived over the last few months, largely because of a heart-shaped ring that Sanchez has been wearing. The couple have been in the south of France, attending Cannes Film Festival and staying on Bezos’ $500 million superyacht. Named the Koru, the prow features a mermaid that looks like Sanchez. The cruiser is also reportedly the world’s biggest sailing yacht.
Bezos and MacKenzie Scott divorced in 2019 after almost 25 years of marriage and four kids, with Scott receiving $38.3 billion in the split. Following that news, Bezos and Sanchez took their relationship public. Sanchez also shares two children with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
“We love to be together and we love to work together. We fly together. We work out together. We’re together all the time,” Sanchez said of Bezos in an interview with Wall Street Journal in January. “He’s really funny. He makes me laugh all the time. He can be goofy. When I first heard his laugh, I was like, ‘Whoa! What is that?’ Now I love it. And if I’m at a party and we get separated, all I have to do is wait a second and he laughs and it’s like, he’s over there.”
