Apple fans will pay for pretty much anything the tech giant puts out, but this price tag is definitely insane.

You can order the new Mac Pro today, but the final price tag is $52,599 if you get all of the custom specs that come along with it, according to The Verge. The base price is $5,999, but that $52K number makes the computer the most expensive Mac ever to exist.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธBase price: $5,999
๐Ÿ—ƒ๏ธ4 terabytes of storage: $1,400
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ1.5 terabytes of RAM: $25,000

You're probably wondering why a computer costs more than your college tuition. If you add 1.5TB of RAM, or 12 128GB chips of memory, you're looking at $25,000 tacked onto the original price. Adding the 2.5GHz, 28-core Intel Xeon W processor will stack another $7,000 onto the price, and if you want to upgrade to 4TB of storage costs, you're looking at an additional $1,400. Even adding wheels to the frame is an additional $400. All in all, it gets pretty pricey.

Don't worry if you haven't got the cash right nowย โ€” you won't be able to max out your Mac Pro with all of these configurations until January.

People had a lot to say about Apple's newest tech product.
