Applying to buy weed from an online dispensary might not be the best time to let your nerd flag fly, though. Just ask the Canadian who tried to buy using an ID of the entirely fictional Thor Odinson.
The Alberta ID features the instantly recognizable face of Chris Hemsworth in his superhero garb. He lives at 69 Big Hammer Lane and his weight is curiously listed at around 150 pounds. To make the whole thing a tiny bit more ridiculous, the dispensary couldn't have accepted the ID even if they bought the ruse. A quick scan reveals the identification is two years out of date.
Even if it didn't get this desperate Canadian the drugs they desired, Twitter had a good laugh over it.
