Pharrell’s Humanrace is expanding once again, this time with the impending launch of a new category just in time for the summer season.

Thursday, the product company—co-founded by Pharrell in 2020—unveiled details for its new line of suncare products. Launching next month, the inaugural batch of suncare products will include the Ozone Face Protection Daily Moisturizer and the Ozone Body Protection Cream, both of which boast SPF 30 protection and are comprised of mineral-based formulations.

In a statement, Pharrell pointed to the importance of including suncare in one’s daily routine.

“Our Earth’s Ozone layer naturally protects us from harmful UV radiation from the sun, but we still need to protect ourselves daily from the UV rays that get through,” he said. “We believe there is room under the sun for everyone, and we all need to be wearing sunscreen daily.”

For co-founder and brand president Rachel Muscat, the new suncare line offered an opportunity to take inspiration from her upbringing in Australia.

“I grew up in Australia where sunscreen is a daily part of our routine,” Muscat said. “We want to provide that same education and instill a positive daily practice of wearing SPF daily to our customer.”

Get a closer look at the first batch of suncare products below. The suncare-centered expansion of the Humanrace brand, per a press release, is more than two years in the making. Both the Ozone Face Protection Daily Moisturizer and Ozone Body Protection Cream will both be available starting July 14.
