Levi’s Authorized Vintage and New Balance have reunited for a three-piece collaboration centered on Levi’s use of heritage styles and materials.
Comprising an updated New Balance 992 sneaker and Levi’s 501 jeans and Trucker jacket, the apparel offering focuses on the use of reconstructed materials, with each piece featuring three different grey washes of genuine vintage denim.
Elsewhere, the 992—which was first released in 2006 to celebrate New Balance’s 100th anniversary—has been reimagined to feature a patchwork of grey hairy suede and upcycled denim. Further details include a reflective red tab sewn into the “N” on the side of the sneaker and a special edition red “Levi’s for feet” printed insole.
Finally, every 501 and Trucker will come with a special edition hangtag with co-branded graphics, while the Levi’s New Balance 992 will come in a special edition natural coloured box with a red top, and co-branded tissue paper on the inside.
