Kenzo is furthering its NIGO era with the launch of the first in a series of limited edition capsule collections.

The first limited edition capsule for Spring/Summer 2022 follows NIGO’s debut show for the LVMH-owned French house in January, which itself was preceded by the announcement of the recent ASAP Rocky collaborator as the luxury brand’s new artistic director in September.

The Japanese boke flower is featured on two five-piece wardrobes, with a press release noting that the pieces are designed to be “genderless in spirit.” As for capsule highlights, fans will note the inclusion of a coach jacket worn by NIGO during the aforementioned Paris show earlier this year.

Get a closer look below. The limited edition begins availability on Feb. 5 via the Kenzo site and select stores. U.S. shopping locations include Kenzo SoHo, Dover Street Market NY, and Dover Street Market LA.

“Inheriting the spirit of Kenzo san’s craftsmanship to create a new Kenzo is the greatest challenge of my 30-year career, which I intend to achieve together with the team,” NIGO, whose new album I Know NIGO is out next month, said last year when announced as the new artistic director of Kenzo.

This week, NIGO’s Human Made label detailed a partnership with the Jun Takahashi-founded Undercover in the form of the Last Orgy 2 collection. Revisit the collection here.
