Ogbo Okoronkwo’s photography is front and center in the just-released Spring/Summer 2025 campaign video from ESSX.
The NFL star’s work is indeed at the center of the timely ESSX video, which also features Grant Delpit, Arianna Hawkins, and Qesco as models. Credited as creative director and stylist for the video, available in full up top, is Moses Zay Fofana.
Obeezy, notably, has a longstanding relationship with ESSX, including his use of the storefront back in 2023 for a solo photography exhibit. That same year, Lei Takanashi spoke with ESSX co-founder and retail director Laura Baker, who pointed to her and her collaborators’ shared experience of growing up in New York as influential to the launch of the Lower East Side concept store.
“We're really relying on the New Yorker to come in here and shop and discover,” Baker said at the time. “It's, again, less about the labels and more about individual pieces and individual style.”
This week, the ESSX team served as the launch locale for Barriers Worldwide’s new Barrera collection. An accompanying installation is set to be on display at the ESSX store through the end of this week. See below for a closer look.
