Hartcopy, the much-adored platform founded by Tim Suen and Sam Le Roy during the 2020 lockdown, has become a central hub for sneaker enthusiasts since its inception. With a strong focus on knowledge-sharing, the UK-based company, which comprises an editorial IG page and online store, has cultivated a vibrant culture of exploration, delving into the histories of various brands within the industry.

From lifestyle stories to unearthing untold truths behind elusive and highly sought-after releases, Hartcopy has been at the forefront of the sneaker narrative. Fuelled by their passion for sneaker discovery, Hartcopy has recently announced the forthcoming release of their second signature book: Hartcopy Vol.2.

Following the success of their debut print publication, the new instalment promises to offer readers an engaging journey into the dynamic and ever-evolving world of sneakers. Last year, the London sneaker community showed their support for Hartcopy by attending an in-store signing event exclusively at Footpatrol’s flagship store. A special celebration has now been planned for the launch of Hartcopy Vol. 2, featuring an exclusive in-store meet-and-greet with co-founder Sam Le Roy.

The event aims to bring the sneaker community together, providing an opportunity for enthusiasts to connect and enjoy an evening filled with sneaker-themed festivities. Attendees will have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, gain insights from Sam Le Roy, and even secure a signed copy of Hartcopy Vol. 2. The event will also feature an exclusive release that is expected to both dazzle bookworms and sneakerheads alike.

Hartcopy and Footpatrol have also raised the bar even further by joining forces with esteemed heritage shoemaker, Clarks. Coming as an limited 20-piece giveaway, the focus of the partnership looks to the iconic Wallabee Boot—a true symbol of Somerset-born label’s heritage—and draws insperation from FP’s 2013 Taywer FP collection. Arriving in a neutral colourway, the collaborative model is taken to new heights with updated fobs and laces, and promises to be a unique fusion of past and present while also showcasing the evolution of both brands.

As if that wasn’t enough, Hartcopy has gone the extra mile by partnering with Jason Markks, a trusted name within the premium shoe care game, who will provide additional merchanise to ensure that lucky recipients of the collaborative Wallabee Boots remain fresh, while drinks brand Mirchi will be keeping attendees hydrated through the night.

“Hartcopy is absolutely soaring and I couldn’t be any happier with it,” said Sam Le Roy during an interview on the rise of Hartcopy. “It’s surprising the rate at which we’re going, but I think that’s just the nature of the game; I’m sure we’ll have a slow period at some point. The plan has always been to showcase and educate, really. The wider plan, at least. Of course, there’s a load of smaller peripheral goals that I’ve got to tick off along the way, but I don’t see Hartcopy diverging from that mission of educating. The only change has really been our ability and success in doing exactly that.”
