Another day, another viral hashtag. And no, this one doesn’t involve a swollen lip challenge or exposed nipples—this week’s craze is all the time-honored menswear staple: the suit.
You may have noticed it on Instagram: an increasing number of men taking selfies while rocking their favorite smart attire. And they’ve adopted the hashtag #suitfie to show the world just how swagless they are.
According to Business Insider, there are over 1,300 selfies tagged with #suitfie. Guys around the world are showing off their blazers, slacks, dress shirts, and ties using this painfully uncreative hashtag, which doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. And although there are some guys who have straight up nailed the dapper look, most of the outfits are just bad. Well, not exactly bad … just basic.
