Good news for dudes carrying some extra weight around the middle. A new report shows that overweight men are having the most sex.
The study done by Chapman University evaluated how a man's height and weight affected their number of sexual partners. An online survey was taken by 60,000 men and women with an average age of 37. The results found that men who are obese according to their BMI had the highest number of of sexual partners with eight, followed by men with an average weight with six.
“Overweight and normal men fit the conventional ideals for men,” Dr. David Frederick told Yahoo! Health. “Men are expected to appear tough or athletic. Very slender men can face stigma for not appearing powerful.”
The study also reports that the link between men's height and their number of partners was very weak, despite research proving women's preference for tall men.
