Takashi Murakami has curated a new exhibit at Los Angeles’ Blum Poe Gallery featuring work from the next generation of Japanese ceramists. Diverting significantly from Murakami's pop art style, the exhibit features pieces by Yuji Ueda, Kazunori Hamana, and Otani Workshop, who have more traditional Japanese work, with a modern influence. These artists rarely exhibit in the U.S., so it is definitely worth your time to check it out while it's up.
