New York Fashion Week: Men's is only three days old, however, the event has already been picked up for another season, Style.com reports.

Men's designers will have the opportunity to show their Fall 2016 collections at the second New York Fashion Week: Men's at the beginning of next year, Jan. 28 to Jan. 31. The timing for the week will be similar to the current shows. Men's fall collections will be shown shortly after the Haute Couture presentations in Paris and several weeks before the women's shows in New York.

The CFDA's CEO Steven Kolb was passionate while talking about the men's week after a press conference. "I’m excited that our time has come, that we finally have a global spotlight on this great menswear talent," he told Style.com. "Menswear is a small segment of the overall industry, overall business of fashion, but it continues to grow and elevate."

Kolb also shut down any rumors that the expansion to men could mean more new fashion weeks are in the works. "Do I think we need another fashion week in the states that is similar to New York Fashion Week? I don’t," Kolb said when asked about putting on a fashion week in Los Angeles. "I think the strength of L.A. is really design, creativity, manufacturing, and that’s where I see the CFDA getting more involved."

This is clearly great news for New York Fashion Week: Men's, which is off to a great start thanks to strong showings from Rag & Bone, Public School, Robert Geller, and Ovadia & Sons.
