It's not the first time that Robert Geller and Common Projects have teamed up. The duo's offering at Geller's Fall/Winter 2015 show saw the introduction of collaboration chelsea boots and strapped derby hardbottoms. It's designs like these that help to attract big name fans to Geller's work—including Kanye West.

For the Spring/Summer 2016 season, CP and Geller have gone for a simplified look, crafting oxfords in the style of ballet shoes for the runway.

The Common Projects footwear was accompanied by sandals from Japanese accessory brand Suicoke. Naturally, Geller tapped into one of the label's most recognizable pieces, its woven sandals silhouette.

The collection itself is a combination of Geller's dark minimalism with a beachy twist (and a few cummerbunds for good measure).

Look out for these sure-to-be coveted shoes in the coming months.
