With all the chatter surrounding impending Baby Yoda merch in the wake of The Mandalorian's runaway success on Disney+, one possibility was left largely ignored until now: a BAPE collab.
As announced on Wednesday, BAPE has indeed linked up with theStar Warsteam for a collaborative tees collection. For proper Mandalorian fan service, a BAPE-ified Baby Yoda makes an appearance here, as does the title character. Even Baby Milo is in the mix.
Sales for the tees, billed as "must-haves" and running a paltry $115, begin Feb. 29 at select BAPE shops and via the brand's online store.
Earlier this month, BAPE enthusiasts were treated to with the launch of a new Coach collab centered around the aim of crafting "bold and playful" pieces that brought the unique aesthetics of each brand into one collection. The accompanying lookbook for the collection featured Michael B. Jordan.
Also this month, Disney announced that The Mandalorian Season 2 would premiere this October. The first season debuted via Disney's still-fresh streaming app last November and was met with largely celebratory reviews. The inaugural batch of episodes, mostly penned by Jon Favreau, concluded with the December-premiered "Chapter 8: Redemption."
