Kim Kardashian has been awarded $2.7 million in damages and $60,000 in attorney's fees from Missguided USA over the company's unapproved use of her photos, name, and likeness in an effort to sell clothing, per TMZ. The reality star filed the suit against the company in February and included side-by-side images of her outfits and the alleged replicas featured on Missguided's website.

"Missguided has repeatedly used Kardashian's name and likeness without permission on its social media platforms to promote the sale of its clothing," the judge said.

Kardashian-West actually won by a default judgement, as Missguided never responded to the lawsuit.

So, as always, don’t believe everything you read and see online. I don’t have any relationships with these sites. I’m not leaking my looks to anyone, and I don’t support what these companies are doing.

The court also pointed out the retailer has entire pages dedicated to replicating Kim's outfits, without her permission, tagging her on Instagram in dresses she wore shortly days before Missguided released their copy-cat versions. In a lengthy Twitter thread earlier this year, the mother-of-four condemned fast-fashion brands for blatantly replicating outfits at a lower cost.

Back in February, Missguided issued the following statement to E! News: “We haven’t received any notification of legal action, but in any event any action based on online banter would be meritless. Missguided shoppers know the score—We’re about the celeb look, for people without their bucks. For the record, as much as we love her style, we’re not working with Kim on anything.”

Moving forward, the UK-based brand will not be allowed to use Kardashian-West's trademarks, including her face and "other assets."
