Sometimes cars break down in extremely inconvenient places or at even worse times and require DIY repairs that, frankly, make the world a worse place. Now, if it's only temporary, this is okay, as long as the proper job is completed as soon as possible. However, there are people that either don't have the money or simply don't give a shit and leave their cars with these ridiculously ratchet modifications. You've obviously seen the classic duct tape repairs, but have you ever seen an intake made out of a Pringles can? Or how about a tire made out of garden hose? Maybe a shelf bracket spoiler? These and more interesting concoctions are included in these 25 Struggle Car Repairs.

Plywood
Car Part: Trunk
This isn't nearly as bad as some of the other attempts to cover a trunk, but wood won't last too long in the elements.
Wooden Logs
Car Part: Tires
Forget carbon fiber wheels. The newest in rim technology is the vibrating tree trunk wheel. Only five minutes of driving and your entire body will be numb!
Tire
Car Part: Wheel well
There's nothing that knows how a tire will sling off street grime and water better than another tire. It makes for easy cleaning, too.
Plastic Tubing
Car Part: Bumper
Nobody realizes this, but you can actually take off this bumper, assemble it in a different way and use it as a potato gun.
Boom Box
Car Part: Stereo
The most practical portable stereo ever. You might not be able to put this in your pocket, but you won't have to worry about buying a new adapter for your iphone with this classic.
Sponge
Car Part: Windshield wiper
If you could somehow rig this to go around the entire car, you might be onto something.
Decorative Shelf Brackets
Car Part: Spoiler
Wings like this already look stupid enough, so this doesn't really change anything.
Red Bull Can
Car Part: Exhaust
Red Bull: Gives you wings and a quieter, more colorful exhaust.
Cart Wheel
Car Part: Wheel/Rim
These wheels are annoying enough when they start sticking on your shopping car. Can you imagine trying to drive when it suddenly locks up, sending your car into a triple sow cow?
Pringles Can
Car Part: Intake
Once this pops, your car will definitely stop.
Pliers
Car Part: Dials
He knows those gauge caps don't cost a lot, right?
Screw Driver
Car Part: Headlight
We give this guy props. Some people are dumb enough to forget their lights when they're working. This guy won't even let a malfunctioning part keep him from lighting the road.
Chopped Wheel Well
Car Part: Fender Flare
So he'd rather devalue his car than spend a little money to get the right part? Hmm ...
Duct Tape and Cushions
Car Part: Convertible Top and Seat
We'd like to give this the first prize for the most jacked up vehicle on the list. The canvas is now entirely duct tape, the seat has a cushion from an ourdoor patio set, and there's what looks like a fan behind the seat propping it up. We're surprised there isn't an old unicycle as the steering wheel.
Handheld Mirror
Car Part: Side Mirror
Girls would love this. Just pop it off, put it in your purse, and you've got your mirror for the day.
Siding
Car Part: Door
Look! He was even savvy enough to seamlessly blend it with the wheel well.
Chain and Padlock
Car Part: Door lock
Because it's not like robbers ever carry around chain cutters or anything.
CD-ROM
Car Part: CD Player
This dude's taken "reduce, reuse, recycle" just a little bit too far.
Cardboard
Car Part: Trunk
Usually the purpose of a rear deck lid is to prevent people from getting into your boot and protecting what's in your boot. Cardboard does neither of those.
Wooden Planks
Car Part: Trunk
Throw a cereal box cover on there, and the trunk will be complete.
Lots of Tape
Car Part: Hood
At this point, you might as well just completely remove the hood. At least then you'd just look like a duecsch trying to show off your engine rather than a complete idiot.
Glass Bottle
Car Part: Headlight
This probably doesn't work too terribly, actually.
Garden Hose
Car Part: Tire
At least use the right size tubing, man! Your rim's still going to be scraping up the pavement.
