There's a case to be made about how the mid-2000s Washington Wizards spawned the basketball blog empires you see in 2018, as Deadspin pointed out. Part of that stems from personalities like Gilbert Arenas, Nick Young, and Javale McGee—but Gil leads the pack. Yes, the day Gil and Javaris Crittendon brandished hand guns in the team's locker room will live in infamy, but Agent Zero also once pooped on Andray Blatche's sneaker. On Friday, an important update surfaced on the eight-year-old story.

On Friday, Washington Post's Dan Steinberg found an important twist in the story when someone created a personalized shoutout from Gilbert Arenas on Cameo.

Diabolical. Gil removed the sole before pooping in the shoe, then put the sole back in. Steinberg offers up a reality check for those of us old enough to remember when this story was a thing.

What's even more absurd than this update is that it's not even one of the 10 craziest moments of Arenas' career.
