Antonio Brown has found himself in hot water once again.

According to ESPN, Florida authorities issued an arrest warrant for Brown’s arrest on Thursday, days after he allegedly attacked the mother of his four kids inside a South Tampa home. The incident reportedly took place on Nov. 28, when the former Buccaneers wide receiver got into a verbal argument with the woman over unspecified reasons. Police say the altercation quickly escalated into physical violence, as Brown allegedly threw a shoe at his ex-fiancée and struck her “in the ponytail.”

“The victim had no injuries but believed the shoe was meant for her head,” police said in a statement.

Brown is also accused of trying to evict the victim from the residence and locking her out. Police reportedly arrived at the scene at around 1:30 on the day of the incident, and Brown refused to speak with them. According to Fox 13 News, the 34-year-old athlete locked himself inside the house and allegedly threatened to shoot the victim if she attempted to re-enter.

“The suspect placed an informal eviction notice on the door…with 11/28/2022 at the date showing the victim has 7 days to gather her belongings and leave,” the police report read. “The suspect continued throughout the incident to state that the victim had no right to be at that residence or to even gain entry to it because she did not live there. The victim’s ID has the listed address as her residence as of 10/18/2022.”

Police claimed Brown also began throwing the woman’s belongings out of the house. They said the victim eventually left the residence with her children and was advised to spend the night at a hotel or friend’s house.

ESPN says Tampa police requested a temporary risk protection order against Brown, which would prevent him from possessing firearms or ammunition if he posed a significant threat to himself or others. A judge denied the request on Nov. 29.

Brown is now facing a misdemeanor domestic violence battery charge. Police reportedly went to his house on Thursday afternoon and spent at least an hour trying to serve the arrest warrant. They left the premises after Brown refused to come out.

According to ABC Action News, authorities tried communicating with Brown through a megaphone, reportedly shouting, “We’re not going anywhere.”

During the incident, Tampa Police said Brown began throwing the woman’s belongings out of the house. At some point before police arrived, Brown allegedly came out of the home and “threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail.”By the time police arrived, Brown had allegedly locked all of the doors and windows to the home and refused to come out.TPD said Brown offered to let the children go inside the home, “but the kids did not want to go inside because they were afraid of their dad when he gets in these destructive moods.”Police said they made multiple attempts to get Brown to open the home but were never successful. According to TPD, Brown had placed an informal eviction notice on the door and repeatedly said the woman had no right to be at or enter the home.

This is far from Brown’s first controversy, legal or otherwise. He was accused of sexual assault in 2021 by a former trainer, and earlier this year was caught on video exposing himself to a woman at the Armani Hotel Dubai on May 14. The footage, which has since gone viral, showed Brown shoving his rear end into the face of a woman before he lifted up his penis and flashed it in her direction.

Brown took to Twitter to respond to the leaked clip, writing, “Every chance they get to sway the heat off themselves they use me. In the video you can clearly see she runs off with my swim trunks. If roles were reversed the headlines would read ‘AB having a wild night with nude female.’ Yet when it’s me it automatically becomes a hate crime.”
