The Houston Rockets faced the Los Angeles Lakers last night, marking the first time Dillon Brooks has played against LeBron James since the infamous second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

During the game, someone filmed Brooks and James talking to each other with their hands on their respective hips, making it look like a standoff.

Though it's not exactly clear what the two were talking about, the internet was quick to react.

In the quote tweets, someone was so shocked at Brooks' insistence of being a disturber on the court that he said he "might just have to respect it at this point."

The Rockets wound up beating the Lakers yesterday with a score of 128-94, but Brooks was a non-factor, scoring just five points on 33 per cent shooting.

Prior to the game starting, James told reporters that Brooks "was worthy of the contract he got."

In his Rockets debut, Brooks was ejected and subsequently dubbed himself "Dillon the Villain."
