Dillon Brooks debuted with the Houston Rockets yesterday during a preseason game against the Indiana Pacers.

It went about the same as you'd expect.

After four minutes, Brooks was ejected from the game. He received a flagrant-two foul for punching the Pacers' Daniel Theis in the groin.

After the game ended in the Rockets' favour with a 122-103 win, Brooks doubled down on his antics.

"What's My Name? The name is 'Dillon the Villain," he said once the game wrapped up. "I might have tapped him below the waist. But he got right back up. I don't know. It's weird that every time it happens to me, I get picked on. I guess it's part of the reputation."

The replay shows Theis going down after making contact with Brooks but gets up shortly after.

The referees then reviewed the play and hit Brooks with a flagrant-two, expelling him from the game.

Brooks' trash talking persona was also acknowledged by Drake, who referenced him on the Lil Yachty-assisted track "Another Nate Light."

"Shawty ran some Dillon Brooks / can't believe this nโ€” talkin', damn," Drake rapped at the beginning of his verse.
