After one season with the Charlotte Hornets, Lance Stephenson could be on the move once again. This time, he may be headed to the Los Angeles Clippers. According to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hornets and Clippers have spent "several days" discussing a possible deal which would send Stephenson to L.A. in exchange for Spencer Hawes and Matt Barnes.

In his first season with the Hornets after inking a three-year, $27 million deal, Stephenson was a shell of his former self, averaging just 8.2 points per game (down from 13.8 in his previous season with the Indiana Pacers) while shooting 37.6 percent from the field. The statistical decline paired with his temperamental attitude forced Charlotte to reportedly pursue trade options involving Born Ready.

Now, it appears that the Hornets may have found a suitor in the Clippers who are reportedly looking for a ball handler when Chris Paul is not in the game, as well as someone who can regain the form he had in his latter years with the Pacers.

Update: The deal has been finalized, according to the Hornets' Twitter account.

Wojnarowski adds that the Hornets may not be keeping Barnes around.
