Tim Tebow Denies Report That He'll Speak at Republican National Convention

Tim Tebow took to Instagram to deny a rumor about speaking at the Republican National Convention.

Earlier Thursday a report was going around the internet, and we mean the traditionally believable parts of the internet (like The New York Times), that Tim Tebow would be in Cleveland next week to deliver a speech at the Republican National Convention. His date to speak was reportedly the fourth day of the convention, Thursday, July 21.

However Tebow either welched, or nobody bothered to ask him about it first, because the former Heisman winner appeared to be somewhat shocked by the news. After returning from a week out of the country where he was living up to his nice guy rep by helping with an orphanage founded by his dad in the Philippines, he hopped on his Instagram to refute the report with a post that, to be honest, kind of sounds like he's been practicing his political speeches:

Guess we'll find out next Thursday if he's telling the truth or not.
