A lot of celebrities were on hand to watch the Lakers take on LeBron James' former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers—including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West. Tristan Thompson is not the Kardashian family's favorite person, a position that seemed to be reaffirmed by Kim during last night's game.
When Thompson headed to the free-throw line, some fans in attendance claim that Kim rose to her feet so that he could hear (and see) her boo him. Video confirms that Kim did at least stand up, but whether or not she booed is up for debate. Though people online seem to have already made up their minds.
Prior to the free throw, Kim showed proof that she was at the game by posting a picture of Thompson handling the ball to her Instagram Story. If Kim did indeed bo Tristan, it very well could have been done in jest. In fact, TMZ 's sources point out that Kim and Kanye were in fact there to support Thompson, and obtained their courtside seats independently.
Although she's been critical of Thompson's infidelities, Kim has been following her sister's lead by keeping things cordial with him. According to E! News, Thompson and Kim had a lowkey private dinner in September, that lasted an hour.
Despite getting blown out by the Lakers, Thompson put together an efficient night. He scored 17 points on 8-11 from the field. He also pulled in 10 rebounds, two assists, and a steal during his 34 minutes on the floor. Kourtney Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens, Halsey, Courteney Cox, Emily Ratajkowski, and Machine Gun Kelly were also at the game.
