David “Big Papi” Ortiz is on the hunt for a new gig. And he’s invited fans to join him during the search.

More than a year after his retirement from Major League Baseball, Ortiz has announced his new reality TV show titled Big Papi Needs a Job. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 10-part series will follow the former Red Sox slugger as he tests out a variety of professions, including musician, dog groomer, manicurist, and stadium tour guide. Will have to see if he gives a Lyft driving another shot.

Throughout his career in the MLB, it was clear that Ortiz loved the cameras, and the cameras loved Ortiz. His big and charismatic personality helped him land an analyst gig on Fox Sports, in addition to commercial appearances and endorsement deals with major brands like Dunkin Donuts, MasterCard, Coca-Cola, and New Balance.

"Ever since I was a kid I've never been known for sitting still—after 20 years on the field, I’m ready for something new,” Ortiz said in a statement. “I’ve always been about trying new things, and this series is all about that. I’ve been meeting new people and having a lot of fun. I can’t wait for fans to come along for the ride.”

Big Papi Needs a Job will premiere Jan. 31 on Fusion. You can check out the series promo above.
