Sports are a great way for kids to learn about things like teamwork, but they're also not for everyone. There are some children who just don't like playing them, and that's OK. You shouldn't force them to do it.
If you do, you might end up with a situation like the one in the video above on your hands. Deadspin obtained a video of a little kid "playing" basketball recently. And by "playing," we mean "standing at half court and wondering when it's all going to be over." Seriously, the kid barely moves and even when his coach tries to get him to get into the game, he's just like, "Nah, I'm good."
Maybe try a different sport next season, mom and dad?
