Last week, boxing website The Sweet Science revealed that there was a very good chance that Floyd Mayweatherwas going to agree to fight Andre Berto in his 49th professional match on September 12. And while Mayweather himself hasn't confirmed or denied it, TMZ Sports is now reporting the same exact thing. They also spoke with Berto last night, and he seemed to confirm that the Mayweather/Berto fight is going to happen.
"It's a pleasure and honor to be in this position," he told them, "and I'm looking forward to capitalizing on every moment of it."
Assuming this is true, these two dohave a bit of a history with one another, which could make the fight intriguing. But are you excited by this matchup? At all?
