Jimmy Butler is coming off of an incredible season where he emerged as the Bulls' best player (yes, even better than Derrick Rose) and was named the NBA's Most Improved Player. All of that helped him ink a new contract this summer that will pay him $95 million over the next five seasons.
But Butler didn't get to this point easily. He had an extremely rough childhood, which included being kicked out of the house by his mother when he was just 13 years of age. While he has taken certain steps to remind himself not to dwell on the past, he is doing something very nice for people with his newly-found riches.
