Amidst rumors that Johnny Manziel partied in Las Vegas in a disguise over the weekend things are getting worse for the troubled quarterback. Not only do the Browns want to get rid of him, so does LeBron James' marketing arm LRMR. The agency, who reps Manziel, has decided to end their business relationship.
Maverick Carterāone of James' best friends and business partnersātold Clevelend.com:
āI will continue to support and advise him as a friend,ā Carter said. āHowever, because Johnny needs to focus on personal growth, the next phase of his career and because LRMR continues to expand beyond marketing, we made the mutual decision that it was best to terminate our business relationship.ā
Just yesterday LeBron was asked about Manziel's recent struggles, saying:
āIām not quite sure, I donāt know all the details on it. Iāve really kind of havenāt been all up on it, but Iāve heard a little of it,ā LeBron said. āItās just a distraction for not only himself, but for everyone thatās around him, including family, people that represent him, the people that are around him. And heāll figure it out at some point. We all hope.ā
Seems like LRMR was already internally discussing Manziel's fate. When it rains, it pours.
