Things got tense during Thursday night's Quick Lane Bowl between the Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Pittsburgh Panthers.
With just ten seconds remaining on the clock, Eastern Michigan QB Mike Glass III, a senior, started swinging on Panthers players and grazed a ref in the process.
Check out the footage for yourself.

Some thought that the ref's reaction was a bit much.
Eastern Michigan QB Mike Glass just punched a Pitt player and then another one!!
In the second punch, it glanced the ref in the face and he FLOPPED 😂 pic.twitter.com/6vMawu8qLK
Even refs are flopping now 💀 pic.twitter.com/L0AIRTtzUz
Eastern Michigan’s QB gets up and punches Cam Bright IN THE FACEMASK (aka the dumbest move in football, punching a helmet with a hand). Paris Ford comes over to protect and then the QB tries to swing at Paris but instead jawjacked the ref 😂😭😭
Ref took a WWE dive in the Pitt Eastern Michigan game.
Unsurprisingly, Glass was ejected from the game and received two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
The Panthers ended up winning with a final score of 34-30.
