Fans Turn Baker Mayfield's Post-Game Outfit Into the Latest NFL Meme

The Browns' year hasn't gone as expected.

The Browns' year hasn't gone as expected. At the midway point of their season, Cleveland is sitting at 2-6, which includes a devastating 19-24 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The current state of their season seemed to be mirrored by the outfit Baker Mayfield wore to his post-game press conference.

Baker started off the day with a beard. He decided to turn this into a handlebar mustache for the game. But by the time he took the podium, the quarterback had a pretty regular looking stream of facial hair across his upper lip. Also, his long trench coat lacked the luster it had when he entered the stadium and he didn't bother fixing up his hair.

Although he went 27-42 for 273 yards last night, he missed an opportunity to get the ball in the hands of Odell Beckham, Jr. during the clutch. This loss effectively solidified the fact that the Browns will not be in the playoffs. These combined factors left a look of defeat on Mayfield's face that only added to his offbeat outfit.

Of course, the internet had a field day with Baker's post-game appearance, turning him into the NFL's latest meme.

Baker isn't the only Brown to have clothing issues. At halftime, the NFL ordered Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham to change their cleats. Beckham was in the Halloween spirit and decided to start off the game wearing cleats that resembled the Joker before being forced to change into his classic black Uptempo cleats. Landry was wearing all gold cleats when he was asked to change.
