If the Raptors are going to incorporateDrake in their recruiting campaign to get Kawhi Leonard to stay in Toronto, it’s only right that Los Angeles Lakers super fan Snoop Dogg inserts himself into the pitch to get him in the purple and gold next season.

Since Leonard has already held his meeting with the Lakers, Snoop needed to find a new way to get the attention of the two-time Finals MVP, and here’s what he came up with.

Borrowing from "Human Nature," Snoop created a new version of Michael Jackson’s hit song with the hopes that his dulcet tones and catchy lyrics would be alluring enough to get Kawhi to put pen to paper on a contract offer from the Lakers. We should find out soon enough.

Despite Leonard and his camp's best efforts, it appears that Kawhi is currently in Toronto, the last stop on his free agency tour, which has included the aforementioned meeting with the Lakers, and with the Clippers.

Cris Carter, a close friend of Leonard's and his family, said earlier today on FS1's First Things First‏ that everything is going according to plan for Kawhi, and he believes the league's most prized free agent will announce his decision on Friday.

The Lakers could be heading into this weekend with possibly the best super team ever created, or in the process of a rapid patchwork job as they look to fill the remaining holes in their roster.
